Armand Bam

Armand Bam is currently the Executive Director of the League of Friends of the Blind (LOFOB).

He has a keen interest in community development focusing on sport, disability and environmental issues. He is a member of Lion’s Clubs International, trustee of the Cape Town Environmental Trust (CTEET), and has extensive experience in project managing grassroots sport and recreation programmes in Africa.

He is also the Global Development Director for World Blind Cricket (Ltd) and President of Blind Cricket South Africa (BCSA), and has previously been a committee member of the International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) futsal sub-committee.

He holds a post graduate degree in Biokinetics, a Master’s degree in Disability Studies, and is currently working towards completing his PhD in Business Administration.
